Richmond Raiders’ quarterback Mike Jenkins and defensive end William Patrick will attend the Duke Club pre-game event at Leigh Street Bar & Grille to support their alma mater, James Madison University. The event will take place prior to the JMU vs. VCU men’s basketball game on Wednesday, February 24 beginning at 5:30 P.M.

The Leigh Street Bar & Grille is located within walking distance from the Siegel Center. JMU fans can leave their cars at the restaurant and walk to the game. The restaurant will be closed to the general public and reserved entirely for Dukes fans wearing purple or JMU gear.

The Richmond Raiders have a strong connection with James Madison University. Mike Jenkins played as a quarterback for JMU in the 2000-2001 seasons. William Patrick started as a defensive lineman and fullback for the Dukes in the 2003-2006 seasons. Along with Jenkins and Patrick, several Lady Raiders have attended or are currently attending JMU and will be available to talk with alumni and fans at the pre-game event.
