Overview: The Sports Marketing Intern will work with management to develop and support sports marketing initiatives and daily operational activities. The interns will rotate responsibilities on a weekly basis to gain a full understanding of sports marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with internal departments to respond quickly to marketing needs, requests and problems
• Identify sponsor prospects
• Prepare brochures and marketing materials to distribute at local events
• Work in development and implementation of Social Media Campaign
• Coordinate special events and appearances to build brand awareness
• Report on special events and appearances attended by Raiders/ Lady Raiders 
• Develop a strong understanding of company’s mission and values
• Perform market research through interviews with fans and community sponsors
• Coordinate weekly e-newsletter to fans
• Appear as mascot at community events (if needed)
• Handle ticket request
• Update online calendar
• Assist in various operational duties as needed

Sales People (Full-Part Time)
We are looking for energetic sales people to sell team sponsorships and group ticket sales for our upcoming season. Sales experience helpful but not necessary, training provided

Dance Team Coordinator (1 available)
Person would be responsible for organizing and coordinating dance team tryouts and practices as well as being a choreographer for dance team game routines and promotional appearances.

Dance Team Members (20 available)
To perform at Raider home games, must be 18 years of age and able to attend dance team practices and appearances.

Promotion Team Members (6 available)
Attend community events fairs, festivals and sponsor events promoting the Richmond Raiders.

Game Day Operations Coordinator (1)
Coordinated and run all game day on field activities.

Statistician (2 available)
Keep game statistics for the Raiders and submit them to the league office on after each home game.

Videographer (2 available)
Video coaches game film and upload film to film website.

Public Address Announcer (1 available)
To announce sponsor announcements and play by play at Raider home games.

On Field Announcer (1 available)
To announce on field skits, announcements and promotions at Raider home games.

Disc Jockey/Music Person (1 available)
To play music clips during timeouts and breaks in the game at Raider home games.

Radio Play by Play Announcer (1 available)
Play by Play announcer for radio game broadcasts for each home and away Raider games.

Radio Color Commentator (1 available)
Color Commentator for radio game broadcasts for each home and away Raider game.

Game Day Volunteers (12 available)
To work at Raider home games with on field promotions, birthday parties, and tailgating and kids inflatable areas.

Press Release Writer (2 available)
Write weekly press releases on team activities.

Update Richmond Raider website on a regular basis.
