Richmond Raiders kicker, T.C. Stevens (5’9 180, Hampden-Sydney) earned his third player of the week selection as “Special Teams Player of the Week” by the Professional Indoor Football League. Stevens led all kickers in the League in PIFL Week 12 with a total of 12 points. In the Raiders 60-57 victory over Knoxville, he chalked up a perfect 9 of 9 on PAT attempts and added a 28-yard field early in the 4th quarter, jump-starting the Raiders ten-point come-from-behind win.
Stevens previously received Special Teams Player of the Week nods in PIFL Week 1 and in PIFL Week 10.
The Richmond Raiders’ regular season will conclude this Saturday with action beginning at 7:00 PM at the Richmond Coliseum, a potential championship preview between the league’s top two clubs with the Albany Panthers (10-1) visiting to the Richmond Raiders (9-2).
