Summer auditions for the Lady Raiders took place July 22-August 5, culminating with final auditions at this Sunday's Carytown Watermelon Festival. The Richmond Raiders of the Professional Indoor Football League are pleased to welcome 22 ladies to the all-female performance and promotion team. See photos from this week's auditions on Facebook.

With nearly 2,200 public votes tallied online from August 2-5, the Zinsser Popularity Award is presented to ROOKIE KELLI with 15.1% of the vote and VETERAN LIA with 19.8% of the vote. This award is sponsored by Zinsser Plastic Surgery, located at 1501 Maple Avenue, Suite 101B, Richmond, Va.

Meet the new squad of Lady Raiders this Wednesday, August 8 at 7:45pm during Carytown Restaurant Week! The 14 veterans and 8 rookies will be presented with their silver boots on the steps of the old church, 3325 West Cary Street, Richmond, Va.
